2019 Tournament Players Party

We invite you to the 2019 DecoTurf High School Tennis Team Championships Tournament Players Party on Thursday, March 14th. This free event is open to players, coaches and parents and will take place from 7pm-10pm at Champions Club. Not only will the event feature a night full of fun for our participating players before we kick off tournament play on Friday but there are plenty of other reasons to attend! Did we mention that one lucky coach will go home with tickets to the 2019 US Open courtesy of tournament sponsor DecoTurf!!! The event will feature food, drinks and snacks, a DJ blasting tunes all night long, fun games and activities to give the players an opportunity to win prizes and some awesome giveaways throughout the evening courtesy of our great sponsors.

We are also excited to announce that Lisa Stone from ParentingAces will join us at the Tournament Players Party next Thursday with a great informational session for players, parents and coaches. Whether it be junior development, the recruiting process, scholarships, staying healthy, or just hearing wisdom from people that know what they’re talking about – Lisa has it covered. Not only has she lived the life as the parent of a junior player that played high school tennis and went on to play Division 1 tennis but she constantly has her finger on the pulse of every change occurring in junior tennis. We will also have brief presentations from National Scouting Report's Director of Tennis, Tim Wilkison, on helping players interested in playing tennis at the collegiate level and Claire Bartlett, USTA Southern TSR, on upcoming changes to the USTA junior tournament schedule.

New this year is our Coaches Wooden Racket Tie Break Tens Tournament that we will host during the event. Eight brave coaches will put it all on the line in this fun new challenge. I can't think of a better way to build team spirit than to have your players line the courts to cheer you on as you battle against other coaches from across the country to claim the first tournament title of the weekend! Wooden rackets will be provided.
