TEN PAST PARTICIPANTS NAMED HIGH SCHOOL TENNIS ALL-AMERICANS

Congratulations to our ten former participants who were named 2018 National High School Tennis All Americans. Each spring the National High School Tennis All-American Foundation awards the top 40 boys and top 40 girls in the country as National High School Tennis All Americans. Six of the ten honorees participated in our 2018 tournament. Among this year's honorees is three-time All-American selection Brooks Green of McGill-Toolen, and back-to-back All-American selections Mallory Gilmer, Gavin Segraves and Nicholas Watson. The four girls' selections ties 2017 for the most in the tournament history since 2014.

To be eligible to receive consideration as an All-American tennis player a student/athlete must maintain an above average academic and citizenship record, compete on a high school tennis team, and garner an individual national ranking. Among the elite group of student/athletes honored in the past as tennis All-Americans are many current and former professional tennis players, including Pete Sampras, Todd Martin, Kimberly Po, Aaron Krickstein, Jeff Tarango, Taylor Dent and Sam Querrey. All decisions for All-American honors are researched and authorized by a panel of eight (8) National District Chairmen who are highly respected high school coaches.
